Rich:

I googled old gasoline disposal and most of the hits say to filter the gas
through two layers of thin cloth or a coffee filter to remove solids or
semisolids.  Throw the filter in the trash after it dries.  They then
recommend to use the filtered gas by mixing it with new gas at a 1:5 ratio.
An octane booster may be added to restore to better quality.  Hope this
helps.
