[Healeys] Hair and nails - not Healey

Hello Listers,

As I age I begin to notice strange phenonmena.  Just the other day I formed my latest aha.  If you fart in the river it still stinks.

But I need confirmation on one which I have been pondering for several years and I could use the experience and wisdom of the list.  Does hair in the wrong places, body hair, and nails (both toe and finger) grow faster as one ages?  Is there a treatment for this?
