[Healeys] Block of wood in trunk??

Hi All,
 
I'm in the process of redoing my BJ8 trunk as part of the  restoration.  I 
have three blocks of wood; two the same size which are  vinyl covered and fit on 
the left side wall and front wall of the boot for the  spare tire.  I also 
have a third which is about 12" long and about 2" X 3"  in dimension.  It has 
three Forstner cut holes with "T" nuts and 1/4 X 28  bolts.  I think I remember 
taking this off the car from around the battery,  but none of my neighboring 
BJ8s have this block of wood.  My inner  fenders are new and there are no holes 
drilled to clue me.  I can't find  this referenced anywhere.  Your help 
please, and thank you.
