[Healeys] (no subject)alternator

Hi Gents,

when I replaced my BN2 wiring harness with new, & also replaced the 
generator with an alternator, I specified that the yellow wire from 
alternator to third solenoid terminal and the brown supply wire from 
this third terminal to the main electrics be replaced with heavier gage 
wires. The same thing could be accomplished by doubling the two existing 
yellow & brown wires.

Since any additional alternator output has to go to either the battery, 
already a heavy gage wire,  or to engine accessories/lighting, via this 
third solenoid terminal, all bases are covered.

In cases where the extra alternator output may be needed, the original 
small gage wires would be severely taxed to do the needed job.
