I agree with the current carrying capacity of the cables, and typically a
battery cable is rated for 200 amps so not a problem, the loom dynamo cable is
only rated at 25 amps (being a typical 3mm square cable) thats why the
alternator conversion is uprated to around the 60 amps (8.5mm square), you can
also use 4.5mm for 35A, 6.0mm for 42A. All because the regulator is removed.
