Google has implemented a new feature that enables those who know your
telephone number to obtain your name, address, and directions to your home.
To get the directions, they type your telephone number into the Search bar
of their computer and hit enter. Your name and address come up, along with
a link to MapQuest. Upon clicking on the MapQuest link, they get a map to
your home. If you would like to have your telephone number removed, you
can fill out a very brief online form, as noted below.

To test if your phone number is mapped, visit: <http://www.google.com/>
http://www.google.com/. If it is, you can prevent Google from sharing your
information by clicking on your telephone number, and then selecting
"Request to have your name removed from list." Complete the removal form at
the bottom of that page, and hit "Submit." Your information will be removed
within 48 hours.

We hope you find this update useful, especially when talking with your
children about safety issues. If you primarily use an unlisted number, or a
cell phone, the need for this safety precaution may not apply to you.
However, please share this important update with family and friends.

Thank you!
