[Healeys] Smith's blower

I'm checking out a number of ancillary components while my car is 
dismantled, and I'd like to have a look at the blower motor. I've 
taken the motor assembly out of the blower housing,(without cracking 
the bakelite!)  and would like to know how the motor housing 
separates.
Do I drill out the rivets that hold it to the bracket which bolts to 
the blower housing? It's presently hard to see where the separation 
in this housing would be.
