Up until about 5 years ago you could buy them new (someone made a big batch
about 15 years ago). Unfortunately no one makes these right now... maybe in
a couple years if we are lucky.
Your best bet is to scrounge around for used ones. Unfortunately, the BJ8
cranks are the most sought after, and in many cases are hard to find. You
will have to call lots of suppliers like British Car Specialists until you
find one. That's what I had to do for one of my regulators.
Also note that the BJ7 window regulator is different - the crank shaft is
shorter. You can make it work by welding on an extension... that's not the
ideal solution however I know several restorers that do this.
