Recently had a client in the shop. (66 A-H) Car wouldn't stay running, had
put in new points, rotor, cap, plugs, wires, etc. This fellow had some
experience but was baffled. Left the car with us. Due to previous experience,
first check...points.....ah....what is all this play in the distributor?
Solution? Over to the shelf for the trusty Mallory distributor. Replace
distributor....ah....no more wobble. Car starts and runs nice. Stays running.
Call client present choice...rebuild or replace? Replace....OK....Car is ready
here is the bill.

Moral of this story...Don't immediately blame the quality of the rotors.
They usually break for a reason.

Cheers,
