[Healeys] Napa, Pumps, and Filters (sort of long)

I had one of the metal ones fail after 15 years but the plastic bodied
one only lasted 8 years.  I am currently running a Carter 4070
w/regulator but it is loud until the engine fires up.  I have heard a
lot of good reports on the PRO-60SV which can be ordered on-line thru JC
Whitney.

I went to the local NAPA store in Jackson CA to purchase one of the
Facet
pumps (610-1051) and was told that he could order it for me but they
didn't
stock them locally and could not recommend them because almost all of
the
ones he sold were returned to him due to not working correctly. I have
no
personal knowledge - so I don't know how true this could be. Anyone out
there actually have a failure?
