>Just spent a few hours pulling my hair out with my rear axle, the PO had
>chewed up most of the hub nuts on both sides when he tried to probably free
>the rear brakes. I have managed to get all of the nuts off but had to drill
>out two studs to free both drums/ hub extensions. Then had fun trying to

>Question is are the countersunk headed studs pressed into the hub or
>screwed
>and do I have enough clearance between the axle backplate and hub plate or
>do I have to remove the hub?
>thanks in advance
