[Healeys] Fiber Washers

[Bob Spidell]

Healey fuel fittings and the O/D drain cap use fiber washers.  These 
usually
require re-torquing after the washer has compressed and taken a set.

Does anyone recommend pre-soaking these,--n oil, solvent, petrol, 
whatever--to
allow them to seat a little better initially?
