<p class="MsoNormal">There is also the ever-present, ever-dominant Steve Sargis in his 1975 Spitfire, registered in H Production. My buddy Jason was running his Miata in one of the Small Prod groups last year and I was spotting for him, so I got to sit in
the stands and watch Sargis win yet another Runoffs trophy. It really is beyond impressive.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I’ll be there, too, in my Spec Racer Ford. Look for me mired deep in the mid-pack, slugging it out with the rest of the duffers. If I can make it to the top third of a Runoffs field, I’m generally pretty happy. Last year I had a great
race after a lousy quali, moved up from 34<sup>th</sup> (of, dunno, 50-something SRF cars?) and was passing for 16<sup>th</sup> when I got crashed out. That would have been my highest placement so far. Oh well, we all sign the same waiver.<o:p></o:p></p>
