<p>I wholeheartedly agree with you about 5B. It is one of those corners you pitch the car into to get a nice little slide going, so you can mash the accelerator way early. If you just drive around the corner, you are much slower on the accelerator as you are trying to keep the rear end under you. </p>
<p>Another tip I am going to throw out there is how imperative it is to hit the first apex on Turn 2. See the attachment, a screen grab from my in-car camera. It is easy to spot, so many cars have dropped wheels off the pavement that they had to put in a patch. It's easy to see, not easy to touch!</p>

Watch Henry's video four or five times. Realize that wide-angle action cameras make hills look flat. 1 and 2 look like gentle downhill turns—they are not. Turn 5A looks fairly flat—it looks as steep as a wall when you're approaching it. I used less and less brakes for 5A—Peyote used the momentum well and worked best with its ass sliding a bit into 5B. Watch the difference in Henry's steering correction between laps 1 and 2 and the rest of the laps. Hit the crest in the right spot and the right angle, and you're golden. If you miss the magic spot, lift on the throttle right away because you can't make adjustments anywhere near the apex and expect to stay on the track.</div>

If you are familiar with Virgina International Raceway, it is similar to the Oak Tree complex, just scaled down with elevation change. Oak Tree at VIR is flat, Moss Corner at Mosport is anything but!</div>
