<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I use stock cork gaskets.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Glue it to the rocker cover, glue, not RTV.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Give it a nice even coat of Permatex Right Stuff, work it into the gasket surface a little, smooth it out & leave a light coating.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Let it sit for around 15 minutes & starts to 'skin", put a thin wipe of oil on the head so the gasket doesn't adhere to the head surface, fit cover, done.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">The gasket is now part of the cover, it won't squish out, nor will it leak because it has a perfect seal against the head, & can be R&Rd many times w/o additional sealer.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><span>FWIW YMMV etc etc...</span></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><span><span>Glen Efinger </span><br></span></div><div><br></div>

This was a british site- Spitfire - Lemans R (?)</div><div>My question is has anyone seen anything similar here in the States ?
