I too have a 30ish' x 40' footprint. Mine is a little different than Bob's as it is a single slope roof partially tucked up under our house. I have just enough height where my lift is to put the TR3 at full lift height with the bonnet open. If I put a tow vehicle
(suburban or truck) I would not be able to lift it to the max lift height. I think the bottom of the roof purlins are about 14' off the slab where my lift is located. </div>

<div>I built a 30x40 with 10 foot walls and a 10x10 roll up door centered in the front. I have a 2 post in the forward 20" and a 4 post straight behind it, although that one is portable. I've had pickup trucks and a Land Rover on my lift, although that is
rare. If I was doing a narrower shop I would have had to go to 12' walls and pay the extra. I, do wish I had done 10' more depth.</div>
