<p>You are correct, there are minor bridge tolls on the connector from Route 81 to the 401 in Canada. EZPass works. No issue like Marty is referring to.</p>
<p>The toll issue Marty is referring to is a newish toll road built to bypass Toronto. From what I understand, you can still take the old road and avoid the toll. I have no firsthand knowledge of this, but several of our guys do navigate this every year and can chime in.</p>

If you are over 11000 pounds (5000kg) you must have a 407etr transponder. My first trip with the MH and trailer I saw the signs but just assumed that was for commercial vehicles. I assumed wrong. I about crapped when I got the bill in the mail. In addition to the tolls, that weren't cheap, there was $150 in camera fees. I use the 407etr each year to Mosport and like it. But now carry the 407etr transponder. One of our U.S. group was advised at tech last year that it would be in his best interes to install one. If it started to sprinkle during a session he would be black flagged without one. I purchased a cheap small LED light and will be installing it on my roll bar before the event. </div>
