<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Just a quick note of thanks to Henry and the team for a great event last week. Being the new guy, it was great to race at a track that's always been on my bucket list and to put faces to the names of so many of you.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">The car (#75 Halkias PLN) misbehaved quite a bit and the hot laps I was able to run were minimal. Then, in the final, just as I was starting to feel things in the car, the throttle linkage broke. (This was after an alternator failure, a throttle cable failure, a stuck throttle, etc... Drove one session with stuck throttle. Imagine braking and gassing at the same time for 20 minutes there.)</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I had help with all these issues and want to thank Jerry VanVlack (my Triumph Godfather), Bob Lang and Ned Sparrow especially. I learned a lot from these guys. I also want to thank my paddock neighbors, Claude, Todd, Dave and Lyman for their help and patience as I'm sure we were bugging them at some point. A couple other guys came by to help but they came and went before I found out who they were. Thank you if one of them was you.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">It was fun and the event was run flawlessly from my viewpoint. Congratulations to the winners.
