<p class="MsoNormal">Does anyone have a good photo or diagram of a GT6 MkI front frame crossmember with the bonnet hinge assembly?<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">A little more context here. Some of you might remember the car in question – my dad’s red MkI GT6 racer. Effing terrifying car to drive with the swing axles. It was really OK to drive as long as you didn’t need to, you know, brake.
Or, god forbid, brake while turning.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Dad pulled it off the track roughly 20 years ago and began rebuilding it on a ’71 GT6 MkIII frame that I had lying around. He only got the car so far before he was no longer able to work on it. And then he had the temerity to go ahead
and die and leave me to finish the car. I’ve gotten it back to pretty much ready to drop the spare engine and trans into it and send it off to Tom in Vermont for him and his grandkids to mess with.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">As I think about putting the bonnet back on, it occurs to me that dad must have cut off the normal MkIII bonnet hinge boxes that mount on the front frame crossmember, in preparation for adding the MkI bonnet hinge assemblies to the MkIII
frame. <o:p></o:p></p>
