Anything over a 30-45 sprint race and you need to be running full synthetic gear oil. If not, you will melt diff mounts, puke all gear oil out of the diff, burn up bearings…all sorts of failures that we had never experienced with vintage sprint races. <div><br></div><div>So if you plan on any endurance racing, go for the extra fluid capacity and use synthetic.
