The Napa Gold 1516 supposedly made by Wix is also make in Mexico. I used to be in the oil filter business. The country of origin has to be on the product. </div><div dir="ltr"><br clear="none"></div><div dir="ltr">Oil filters are made in many countries. My son-in-law bought an oil filter for his Porsche Cayenne from Autozone that was make in South Korea. They should be made my Mann or Malhe, etc. I bought a 5/16 in universal fuel filter once made in Russia of all places. I used to sell fuel filters made in Israel.
