<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">If you’re referring to what I think you’re referring to (big square piece of flat metal that flew up in the air as a driver went through Turn 1), that was a part of the undertray dislodged by some pretty stout
nose to tail contact. It was the part that goes under the radiator and back to the footwell. That’s probably 5 pounds of pretty sturdy aluminum sheet with sharp corners and edges. Cars are motoring through that corner at around 85 mph. If that thing had
come down on someone, it would have been a very bad day.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Car sessions. But even the Spec Wrecker Fords are smart enough not to go through The Kink 3 wide. We have a strict limit of 2 wide.

Did not see you at the NER party Tuesday night. I was racing in my FP Miata. My son was there too in my Bumble Bee Miata, but blew the engine Monday afternoon. No one was willing to sell their spare engine, so he went home sad. While I had the same HP
as the winning Miata with a Prather engine, I needed to find another 10 seconds (found 8 for my first qualifying session, but still needed 10 more to be in the mix). First time at RA and only got one full test day session and one full qualifying. Others
were cut to 2 or 3 laps due to crashes. I was surprised by the number of crashes in most groups during the week. FP Miata driver paddocked next to me went to the hospital (dropped a wheel off coming out of carousel, spun and hit wall), one Spec Miata driver
was air lifted out during qualifying (trying to go 3 wide thru kink), while others went by ambulance to hospital, GT1 driver, </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Lou Gigliotti, who started his race career in what
