<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Jack many modern gaskets are coated with a sealant that melts/seals when the engine gets heat in it.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">When in doubt, I grab the copper-coat.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I have good luck with the Land Rover split seal, although the alloy housings sometimes have to be machined for a good concentric fit in the block.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Glen Efinger<br></div><div><br></div>
