<div class="" style="word-wrap:break-word; line-break:after-white-space">I’m a big fan of a pre-lube tank. Fill it with the desired oil, unscrew a plug somewhere on the block - typically where there’s one that allowed the oil passage to a main bearing to be
drilled, connect the hose, pressurize the tank with air, and it pumps oil through your whole system. No need to pull the distributor.
<div class="">Not. the cheapest, but I’ve used one for years, and it gets used every time I start up an engine for the first time after significant work or if the accusump has been empty for a while and I can’t use that for pre-lube.</div>

<div class="">There are others, some cheaper, some more expensive. one thing to look for is one that it is easy to dump oil into. I have a cheap one - not like this, have to use a funnel, kind of a pain.</div>
