I was advised BY FOT that if I went with MaxSpeeding I should have a machine shop do a thorough check and re-machining as necessary. That work would more or less cancel out any of the initial savings. There i also the question of the small end bushing. Carillo uses an alloy that is much more robust than the stock bushing. Not sure about MaxSpeeding. So, considering how much I put into the rest of the engine, the cost difference was minimal. So for a full race engine I went Carillo.
