<div dir="ltr">I'm not the equipment expert...Dad is. <div><br><div>My recollection is that the Group 44 car ran Datsun parts mated to Triumph stub axles. </div><div>Our consistent issue was either differentials blowing, or stub axles shearing. </div><div>50 year old metal isn't up to the stresses of modern rubber and engine tuning capabilities, at least not for long. </div><div><br></div><div>We tried doing a subaru set up on one of the cars, it wasn't successful initially. Development is ongoing. The axles shown in the pics posted are for early and late cars.. Might suggest looking at the CV conversion axles being offered by Canley Classics in England for the GT6+?? I myself have been running axles made by Snyder Racing & Machine, Michigan ( since have closed their doors ).</font></div>

<div>I think what Joe has is only for swing axles. My gt6 came to me with corvair hubs and gm bearings , spicer sliding half shafts and inner and outer u joints. It’s been bulletproof, but requires extensive mods to the uprights.
