I'd think that cam would be too much for a street engine. I
designed a more street friendly one with 270 degrees duration (226
at 0.050) and 0.320 lift. A few guys bought them. Unfortunately,
they were done CNC, so I never had a master made. I'd gladly share
the numbers if someone wanted to make one. I think the stock TR4
cams are very good for a street motor. <br>

I love my motor. Larry Young cam on new blank, 87 wiseco
pistons, 12.5:1 compression. But this is clearly not in a road
car. But thinking about it, with a heavier flywheel in it,
might not be terrible on the road other than fuel costs. Lower
the compression a bit and use pump gas maybe marginally ok on
street. <br>

of the fenders inside the engine bay that read Isky so
guessing that is the brand of Cam that is in it. We’ll
see when the engine gets broken down to confirm and see
which one. Is there a Cam that the hive mind of FOT
would recommend for a Road Car that would be preferred.
The current Cam gives the motor a nice sound but as long
as we’re there it makes sense to go “better” too.<o:p></o:p></p>
