The new radiator was extra thick with many rows of fins and tubes, replacing an old “honeycomb” style radiator. It turns out that this extra thick ( about 3 inches) core was very restrictive on air flow compared to the original honeycomb. The car overheated on the highway, something it never did before. As with the TR, the radiator fan was not shrouded. </div><div>So, I wonder if the new radiator is thick enough to reduce air flow compared to the original?
