<p class="MsoNormal">The thing about the Snell certification, the Snell Foundation issues the new stickers in October of the cert year (for the SA, K and M anyway). So the 2020 stickers were released to Manufacturers in October 2020. To avoid a land rush for
new helmets, many (most?) sanctioning bodies now maintain the “old” standard for one more year (e.g. 2010 was still legal for the 2021 season), requiring the new standard in the second year (e.g. 2022).
