        <div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">When I raced at a long track with some tight turns, like Road Atlanta or Road America, I used a 4.3 rear end gear with the Dolomite close ratio gears and an A-Type overdrive.  This combination gave me a good second gear for the tight turns (e.g. turn 7 at Road Atlanta), and the overdrive gave me a good top end for the long straights at both tracks.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Turns 5 and 6 at Road America is a good example of where you might use 2nd gear direct for turn 5, an upshift into 2nd overdrive on the hill up to turn 6, then back down to 2nd direct for turn 6.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I hope this is useful.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Regards,</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Jack<br></div><div><br></div>
