<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Hi Paul. That was my car at one time. I bought it from Jerry Pierce (Anderson, IN) shortly before he died way too young. It was a right hand drive car at that time. Jerry also had a 1962 TR-4 (CT-311), which he bought new and drove it to the races. He had a picture of the car racing at Watkins Glen in the early 60's. He wanted to go faster, so he bought a "prepared" race car and campaigned it through the 70's. I raced against him a number of times at IRP, from 1974 on. After I crashed my car at The Runoffs in 1993, Jerry contacted me to see if I would be interested in buying both of his cars and lots of parts. He was planning his estate (sadly). He had last raced the 37 car sometime in the late 70's, brought the car home after the race and parked it in his basement. That's where it sat, until I purchased it in 1994.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I was in the process of rebuilding my race car, and his car was just too original to mess it up according to SCCA rules at the time. So, I went through it mechanically, left the number 37 on it and sold it to Chip Bond. The rest, I guess is known history to this group. The ad brought back some fond memories.
