I found some coolant pooled around the number 4 spark plug on my TR4 head. I took this photo about 10 minutes after cleaning it up. Stone cold engine. It appears I’ve got coolant seeping through the head at that point. The crack is not in the threads as I had feared. Logic tells me this may not become a critical crack, but I don’t know the topology of those passages well enough to be certain. Might I soon be in search of a new head, or is this repairable? Could it be a crack or is it corrosion? The head part number is 511695. Would love to know what you all think.
