I'd be concerned about possible undesirable dynamics going on. I'm
sure most of you have seen this video -

talk like springs are the only thing that matters. I think
stiffness, weight and the lobe design have something to do with it
too.<br>

<div>Yes. I'm sure that is what's happened here. The shims are
too soft. The golden shims are hardened and probably grade8
with no stampings or identification. Golden color same as grade
8 hardware. The other shims are stamped, valve spring shim and
Houser, Blufton, Ind. </div>
