Following on from Brads share, I thought I might add a bit more detail <br>
regarding the Autosport mk2 1957 Canada Class/ 1960 Formula Junior race <br>
car with her Standard Triumph spit based engine.<br>
<br>
The car was built by Autosport Equipment co. ltd in Cooksville Ontario <br>
originally as a Canda Class race car in 1957 using a modified Standard <br>
10 engine, Lotus 11 gearbox, Triumph Mayflower brakes and rear axle <br>
which was cut down to allow Chapman strut rear suspension using the <br>
drive shaft as the upper suspension arm. To lower the the center of <br>
gravity a chain drive drop box was fabricated to sit on the nose of the <br>
diff and lower the prop shaft.<br>
