I didn't spin but I did lock up one rear wheel with a Detroit
Locker diff. Large bang, it didn't like that. Detroit Locker was
OK, but the one way clutch / roller arrangement in the OD broke
into multiple pieces. What's funny is that it still worked
perfectly. I had some debris fall out later when I changed the
tranny oil so I took the OD apart and the inner part of the one
way roller assembly came out in 3 or 4 pieces.

Speaking of spinning the OD backwards, which it won’t do, what
happens if you spin the car while overdrive is engaged? Probably
my biggest concern for running one of these in a race car... I
was thinking I’d use it on track and maybe autocross, but I think
that is ill advised now that I bring up that question. Has
anyone ever spun and rolled backwards, with OD engaged?

I was able to test my overdrive by chucking a 1/2”

I’ll have to shim the spring I guess.
