It was a nice day.</div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Apparently it was also a nice day for the Skunk family to be out enjoying the day. One decided to investigate what was on the other side of the track.</div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Sadly (no 1) he didnt time his move very well and suddenly appeared in front of a certain red TR3. He subsequently disappeared underneath said TR3.</div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Sadly (no 2) Jeff was following me and one can only guess where said skunk ended up after exiting the underside of my car! Jeff was not amused.</div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif;">The author of this most recent note, Russ Moore, created the effigy of a skunk sometime after the end of the racing day using racer tape and put it on my car for all to discover the next morning. btw, it stayed on my car for several years until the tape finally failed.</div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Back in those days, and likely now, MO both rented golf carts AND charged you a fee to use your own and not rent theirs!</div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif;">On the grid on Sunday a grid marshal came over to me, with Glen standing alongside to swear to the story, and says "you know the track has a $100 fee for every dead skunk, even if you bring your own"</div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="">So many memories! Anyone remember the temporary tattoos I had made and in particular the one that went on Jack Woehrle? Dont think I'd ever seen skin that white.</div><div style=""><br></div><div style="">I just registered for 2020.
