I’ve heard the product cakes up and will no longer work after a while, so I’m interested in making sure the car is as safe as can be.<div class=""><br class=""><div class="">I’ve looked at replacement systems (this one is SPA, they no longer service Halon) and they will cost at least $700 if I want something that is legal for SCCA.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Anyone know if the Halon actually does become unserviceable, or have experience getting the Halon bottle tested/refilled?</div><div class="">Yes, Halon is ozone depleting and no longer sold.
