I'd not heard of using them in a TR-6 until now though.
Somewhere in a Triumph post I read about using what I think were referred to as GT40 liofters [tappets]. They are slightly larger in diameter than stock TR6 ones. A set came with my car, but have never been used. Does anyone know of there and the modification [or where I might have read about them?]. Also, they are for sale.
