Make sure all surfaces are totally clean. Place gasket and head on and a small dab of assembly lube on the head nuts. torque equally in several stages in the proper order according to manual. Torque to a final 70 lbs. cold. then check twice hot (once after a short warm up and again after a 20 or 30 minute session).
