NOT AN OFFICIAL RESPONSE... Group 3 is the "sports
racers" group, and the Devin / Ambro / Peyote could fit in that
group. However we've had them run in group 2 with the Triumphs they
are based on too. Could be more fun that way if group 2 isn't
oversubscribed (it's a very popular group). The 250K could go group
3 as a sports racer or more likely group 8 which would be production cars
that match the powertrain / era (like for the Devin / Ambro / Peyote in
group 2).<br><br>
I suspect VSCDA can be flexible in that regard.<br><br>
Normally TR-2/3/4 run in group 2 and TR-5/6 in group 8. I think the
Spitfires normally end up here too. It's the 1963 - 1972 sporty
cars class where Group 2 is the 1962 and before group. Bill and
Bob's Thunderbolt ran in Group 2 rather than group 3, but could have done
either.<br><br>

Please register as soon as you are able - this will be a big help with
planning. Here's a few notes regarding registration:<br><br>

- You will have to select a Group and Class during the
process. All of our cars will either fall into Group 2 or Group
8. Either way, we'll all run together in an all Triumph group but
you will need to make a selection. Information on the groups can be

- The preliminary schedule has not been posted yet but in general
there will Friday practice with an optional enduro at the end of the day,
Saturday qualifying and then the Kastner Cup at the end of the day, and
then additional opportunities for racing on Sunday. <br><br>

- Be sure that you select the Kastner Cup from the list of
options<br><br>
<br>
- VSCDA will be providing me with contact information for all of
the Kastner Cup competitors. I'll reach out with an email
containing a few questions. Please take a few moments to answer
these questions as the information will be used in a Kastner Cup program
/ spotters guide that will be available at the event. <br><br>
