It was a used competition axle that I got almost three race weekends out of. Unknown brand but larger diameter shaft than stock and one piece design. It's funny, I guess I have a better track record racing with stock axles than upgraded ones.</div><div><br></div><div>The incident itself was uneventful, braking hard and down shifting for a slow turn after a long straight. The right rear corner dropped a couple inches turning me sideways then I slid off track left. I could see my wheel keep going several hundred feet. When I came to a stop I chuckled and thought that's just part of this sport.
