I won't use them otherwise. I will save them for this event only.</div><div aria-label="Compose body">They are said to be slower than radials and they slide around a bit. They seem predictable and have a fun factor. They are the only tire that I have been able to break the back end loose.</div><div aria-label="Compose body"><br></div><div aria-label="Compose body">I had big problems with balancing. A strong vibration in the middle of the straights. I purchased them new on Wednesday from Roger Kraus at the track. They rebalanced three times. On the third try, I also rotated fronts to back. The third try made an 80% improvement. </div><div aria-label="Compose body"><br></div><div aria-label="Compose body">Roger said he has a lot of problems with the Vintage TDs and balancing. He said Dunlop are built better, but are even slower and they cost quite a bit more than the TDs. The TDs are around $250 and I think Dunlops are more than $350 each<span style="font-size: 12pt;">.</span></div><div><br></div><div>Hoosier Street TDs would probably a better 4-ply choice for you, but they don't have a 15" that would work for me. Your comment about tires caught my eye. My GT6 runs 13" wheels, so no speedsters for me. I run Toyo R888s, and have been thinking about trying the TDs. I know the switch to bias plies would require some camber adjustment. Anyone else have experience with the TDs relative to other tires - did you find them faster, slower, more or less responsive?<div><br></div><div><br><div><div><br></div></div></div></div><div><br></div></div></body></html>
