The 15th iteration of this great event will be hosted as the featured event at the 2017 VSCDA Blackhawk Classic at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in Rockton, IL on June 16-18, 2017. For those that remember, VSCDA was the host organization for the 2013 Road America Kastner Cup and both groups came away from that event with great things to say about the other. Our discussions with VSCDA thus far have been extremely positive. I believe you will find this event to be the best of both worlds - small enough to feel like a throwback to simpler times but extremely well run with great amenities. The track is perfect for small bore production racing and the spectating is simply second to none. There is nowhere on the track that can't be accessed for watching close racing action trackside plus there is an observation deck where seven corners can be seen from a perch in the middle of the paddock. Power hookups and great showers make camping simple if that's how you like to spend your race weekends but with Beloit and Rockford nearby there are plenty of options outside the track as well. We will have a large section of the paddock reserved for FOT and the Kastner Cup supporters. </div><div aria-label="Compose body"><br></div><div aria-label="Compose body">The host hotel for the event with the Hampton Inn Beloit which is located 15 minutes from the track. At this time there are 25 rooms blocked for FOT for Thursday the 15th to Sunday the 18th. The rate for the rooms is $120.60/night.
