Go onto Google and check Google mail's spam section. Google
mail has been placing a lot of my FOT and TR mail in its spam
folder so it isn't in my google in basket for Thunderbird to
download to my computer. For me Google decides at least half my
mail from the two mail lists are spam.

I need to log into google.com, go to the spam folder and mark
the FOT and TR mail not spam to I can download it to read. A
real pain but I have yet to find a way to tell the Google spam
filters to ignore the two mail lists.
