<div dir="ltr"><div> <strong>John <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.1">Frymark</span></strong> was awarded the <strong>Triumph Tenacity</strong> cup for figuring out his three days of continuing engine problems which did not allow any <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.2">practice</span> on this track. Finally the issues were solved on the last day, John completed the race and a fine finish position of 6th in the TR-4 class. <strong>Jerry Barker,</strong> the 2016 <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.3">Kastner</span> Cup winner, was deeply involved in assisting John to come to a racing condition for his TR-4.</div><div><br></div><div>A <strong>Sportsmanship</strong> award was given to <strong>Ken Knight</strong>, <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.4">Kastner</span> Cup winner in 2013, for giving up his very fast TR-4 to <strong>Steve <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.5">Belfer</span></strong> who's engine blew up big time in an earlier <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.6">practice</span>. Ken was in the top 6 overall qualifiers all weekend. His giving up a potential winner to Steve deserved this special notice.</div><div><br></div><div>Because of the special conditions these awards were made on short notice and are not normally included in the class trophy presentations sponsored by <strong>Peggy <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.7">Kastner</span>.</strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong>The racing winners by class are:</strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong>TR-3 Dave <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.8">Hogye</span>, TR-4 Mordy <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.9">Dunst</span>, TR-6 Tom <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.10">Kregar</span>, Spitfire Stan <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.11">Rinne</span>,</strong></div><div><strong>Triumph Powered Morgan Jeffery <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.12">Abramson</span>, Modified TRIUMPH Class Tony <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.13">Garmey</span> TR-250K. </strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong>Jerry Barker in his Triumph Herald won the <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.14">Kastner</span> Cup with a 3rd overall finish in this highly contested event. This is the first time for a repeat winner of the Triumph trophy. Jerry also won the <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.15">Kastner</span> Cup in 2011 at <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.16">Laguna</span> <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.17">Seca</span>.</strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong><em>SPECIAL NOTES: Tony <span tabindex="-1" id=":qd.18">Garmey</span> showed the way home to everyone in the </em></strong></div><div><strong><em>TR-250K. We spent the day with some pleasant touring that included John Muir Woods and lunch in Sausalito. A nice family bonus for the weekend.<br>

Then the Red Eye home and slept most of the day.<br>
