<div>My Sears jack lasted two months before is started to leak, this was about 6 years ago. Sears sells no repair parts to fix their jacks ( at that time ) only offered a replacement pump at a cost higher than a new jack on the shelf in the store. Went to a repair shop that rebuilds, repairs jacks and pumps and was told to scrap it as they are not rebuild-able. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Was given a 1 1/4 ton Aluminum jack from Harbor Freight 2 years ago, no problems other than it doesnt lift very high. Have to use blocks to work on the tow van. As for the Crapsman Tools ... very sad they went to China. New tools break all the time, not so stuff they made 20 plus years ago. Always felt they could of charged twice as much, keep the quality a finish up and they would still be cheaper than the high line tools sold off the trucks.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Sad to say even the Kobalt Tool at Lowes are now made in China and prone to breakage, Snap-On sold this line of tools off.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Just an observation,</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">I still have my Sears floor jack I bought 35 years ago. However, it's way too heavy to take on racing weekends and I don't even use it much in the garage - just takes too much effort to move around compared to the light weight one. I'd
consider paying more for a good light weight one, if it really is superior in quality. Certainly not an item I want to have fail while in use!</div>
