<div class=""><br class=""></div>The nitriding cost (via Dennis Murray of Performance Engine Service in Austin, TX) turned out to be $400 (plus $72 shipping), much less than I expected.  Dennis said that was his cost, so perhaps going direct to Mile High Crankshafts in Denver might cost a bit more.  Compared to the cost of a forged crank that seems like a helluva deal for the Ford 1500 pre-crossflow race motor I’m building for the Morgan.
