If you want to replace a steering system the design has to carefully consider bump steer. To get into the ballpark the length of the rack and it’s installation height have to be deigned so that the pivoting joints are in line with the upper and lower suspension joints (both inner and outer) and the angle of the links is the average of the upper and lower suspension arm angle. </span><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""><div><blockquote type="cite" class=""><div class="">On Nov 10, 2015, at 5:51 AM, <<a href="mailto:riverside@southslope.net" class="">riverside@southslope.net</a>> <<a href="mailto:riverside@southslope.net" class="">riverside@southslope.net</a>> wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><div class=""><div class="">How is the bump steer?<br class=""><br class="">art de armond<br class=""><br class="">-----Original Message----- From: Todd Redmond<br class="">Sent: Tuesday, November 10, 2015 8:21 AM<br class="">To: <a href="mailto:fot@autox.team.net" class="">fot@autox.team.net</a><br class="">Subject: [Fot] Steering Rack TR3<br class=""><br class="">Friends,<br class=""><br class="">Since I've just completed this, I'd though I'd share.
