<DIV aria-label="Compose body">I had gaskets from three separate sources and none worked on the cannons. I made mine from steel core material from NAPA and treated them like head gaskets with copper coat on both sides.</DIV>

They have a stainless steel insert and work<BR>flawlessly. I and other racing FOt'ers' have been using them for perhaps 7<BR>years now. Once I fixed the flange issue, I have gotten away with doubling up<BR>on the standard gaskets, but they eventually fail. I had a company that<BR>makes graphite gaskets for industrial purposes run me a small batch a few<BR>years ago. These have performed flawlessly.
