<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto"><div>Headers are a real problem for our 4 banger TRs. </div><div>No one makes a quality unit with a good fit in the U.S.</div><div>Most hang way below the frame.</div><div>A one piece flange is best and most are 3 piece, which makes port matching difficult. </div><div>I tried to buy a "tuned", equal length primaries header from Stahl. </div><div>I made, as he asked, an exact template of my ports and sent it to him. He said he'd make the flange from the template.</div><div>The flange he sent to test fit from my template wasn't even close. Not even close. He said his guy must have pulled one off the shelf.</div><div>I tried two other companies and sent them both back. </div><div>One was a single flange and needed a lot of grinding to make the ports match as well as the studs line up, but hung at least an inch and a half below the frame of my car. 12.0pt">Anyway I purchased a stahl header just before they retired and had
quite the fitting issues as well ...in Stahl's defence my head is milled down
so the flange hit the block but the flange was also too big for my intake to
fit and the bolt holes didn't line up to the head..... a slight massage of the
frame and it fit passed the frame but I ended up welding the inside of the tubes
do I could remove enough material to fit the intake :( <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Stahl headers and car with instructions to make some with basic design of the
Stahl headers that would fit. When done the price was 2.5 times the
quote, nowhere near the design of the Stahls and showed shoddy workmanship.
Don't go there! Only good part on the was the correct size flange I got from
Mordy Dunst.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

racing header that he has used with success. Haven't been able to find this

Has anyone used them or have an opinion? I'd be tempted to try Ken
